| Introduction | A founding Principal of TATE+BURNS Architects, LLC, Mr. Burns received a BArch I cum laude from Syracuse University School of Architecture in 1982. He also studied in London with Syracuse University in 1981. While at Syracuse University, Mr. Burns was a teaching assistant in Structural Engineering. He has also served as a visiting critic at Yale University. Mr. Burns is a licensed architect in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts, and maintains an NCARB Certificate, which allows for reciprocal application of architectural licensure in other jurisdictions. Many of the projects he has managed have been published in professional journals, and won regional and national design awards. Prior to founding TATE + BURNS Architects LLC, Mr. Burns worked with the architectural firms Centerbrook Architects (Moore Grover Harper) of Centerbrook, Connecticut; Main Street Architecture and Planning of Ivoryton, Connecticut; and Bednarski-Stein Architects in Greenfield, Massachusetts. |
