North Cove Renovation - Old Saybrook, Connecticut

Located in the historic North Cove District of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, this project includes the renovation of the master bathroom (see photos) and the home office/guest room. Goals for the master bathroom were to enlarge the space, update the fixtures and interior finishes, increase natural light and provide direct access to the existing remote hot tub and deck. This was achieved by means of a small addition and extensive use of mirrors. Goals for the home office/guest-room were similar: to enlarge the room, provide built-in cabinetry and work space and improve natural light. By reconfiguring the existing, outdated closets, space became available to add to the home office. The addition of windows over the new desk area and the construction of a new skylight well provides daylight to the room.
